This is by far our favorite market to dine and shop. The food is consistently fresh, incredibly flavorful, and thoughtfully priced, making it an easy choice every time. The overall experience feels elevated yet welcoming, and it’s clear there’s a strong commitment to quality. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates great food and a beautifully curated market atmosphere.
Nice spot, there's a little food court inside. We got the empanadas and they were very tasty! Staff is also very friendly
I highly recommend the restaurant in this food supermarket. Colombian food looks as good as it tastes. Came here with friends or family to relax with a bite to eat and a drink. The parking lot is a little small, but there is parking on the side of the highway next door.
Had a lovely columbian breakfast. I ordered a parcero. It was very tasty. I loved the hot chocolate, definitely didn't taste like the package stuff and wasn't too sweet.
Would love to go in and was so excited to try lunch here l, but it's completely inaccessible if you have a stroller or a wheelchair :(
I really enjoy shopping here! They carry niche items from Latin America that are so hard to find anywhere else. For example, they have Goya empanada dough, which is vegetarian-friendly (no animal products), and I even found Café La Llave for my moka pot! These are just a couple of examples—you can find so much more in the store!
Ive been twice and look forward to my next visit. Good quality ingredients, hot and fresh food, and the staff were consistently friendly and provided excellent service. Highly recommended.
The Latino Market is an absolute treasure for anyone looking to experience authentic Latin American culture, cuisine, and community. It’s so much more than just a grocery store—it’s a vibrant hub that offers a warm welcome and a little taste of home for anyone from Latin America, and a fun, flavorful experience for those looking to explore something new. The market itself is incredibly well-stocked with hard-to-find products from countries like Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, and more. You’ll find everything from traditional spices and sauces to specialty snacks, drinks, canned goods, and fresh produce. They even carry imported candies, sodas, fresh cheeses, and frozen items like empanadas and arepas. It’s the perfect place to grab ingredients for a home-cooked meal or discover something new to try. Everything is clean, well-organized, and full of character. But the real highlight is the in-house restaurant—a true hidden gem. The food is bursting with authentic flavor and prepared with so much heart. Whether you’re craving handmade pupusas, tacos, tamales, or grilled meats, everything is made fresh and tastes like it came straight from a family kitchen. The pupusas are especially incredible—crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy inside, and served with perfectly seasoned curtido and salsa. Their tacos are generous and full of flavor, and the horchata and aguas frescas are the perfect refreshing complement. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the service is always friendly and helpful. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home, whether it’s recommending a dish from the menu or helping you track down a specialty ingredient on the grocery side. If you’re in Calgary and want to experience authentic Latin flavors, Latino Market is a must-visit. Come hungry, leave happy—and don’t forget to grab a few snacks or ingredients to take home!
